Indira Foundation Day: Celebrating 32 Years of Compassion and Community Service
On the 5th of September, 2025, the Indira Group of Institutes proudly commemorated its 32nd Foundation Day, marking over three decades of educational excellence, growth, and service to society. Keeping the achievements aside, this milestone was honoured through meaningful actions that reinforced the institutionโs commitment to the community, especially the needy.
One of the key activities planned and seamlessly executed was the food grain donation drive. The staff came together to collect and donate essential food supplies for Shree Mauli Old Age Home. This gesture ensured that the senior residents, many of whom rely on external support, would have access to nutritious staples. This act of kindness underscores respect for elders and acknowledgement of their rightful place in our society.
Also, a stationery drive activity was organized, directed towards Mamta Aandh Anath Kalyan Kendra, an orphanage serving blind students. As education is most critical and the right tools are required to enable and empower the future, Indira Group collected different stationery items and supplies to donate to the underprivileged. In addition to supporting day-to-day learning, it also inspires confidence, inclusion, and equal opportunity.
These drives of helping both the elderly and children is an inspiring model for how institutional milestones can be celebrated with purpose. It goes beyond pomp and ceremony to offer tangible help, fostering empathy, social responsibility, and compassion among the student body. Also, engaging the staff and students ensures that the acts of giving are meaningful and well-received.
Through these initiatives, Indira Group of Institutes established its identity not just as a place of academic excellence but as a communityโoriented institution that believes in uplifting all segments of society. Each item contributed and each moment of engagement reinforces the legacy of service created by its founders and plants seeds of kindness and responsibility in its future graduates.
In celebrating its 32nd Foundation Day in this way, Indira has displayed that the best tribute to a founding vision is one that reaches out, offers help, and honors human dignity.
